Mouse Pipe Detector

The SHC “mouse” (or sonde) pipe detector is a small, torpedo-shaped transmitter attached to drain rods or cables and pushed into pipes, drains, or ducts to pinpoint their location or identify blockages. It emits a specific electromagnetic signal (typically 33kHz) that is detected by a surface receiver, such as a Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT).
